- Prepare your space. Make sure you are in a well-ventilated room and have a heat-proof surface for the burner.
- Place the stick / cone in / on the holder firmly.
- Light the stick and hold the flame at the tip for about 45–60 seconds.
- Extinguish the flame.
- Blow out the flame, leaving a red, glowing ember on the tip.
- Enjoy the fragrance. The stick will continue to burn, releasing its aroma for up to an hour.
